TARMAC Aerosave has just appointed Frédéric Denise as Executive Vice President Commercial. He succeeds Alain Leboucher, in office since 2018. This appointment comes at the dawn of resumption of air traffic, in an unprecedented context of fleet changes.

International experience in aviation maintenance

With an MBA from the Institut Supérieur de Gestion, Frédéric Denise has forged a career within the largest aeronautical groups, in operational and executive positions.

He began his career in 1986, at EADS Sogerma Services, as Sales Director for Europe and Asia, mainly for MRO airframe activity.

In 1996, he joined the American subsidiary of the Barfield Group in Florida, as Sales Manager for North America.

Frédéric Denise became Operations Manager of Barfield in 2004, then President in 2007. Under his leadership, the company of 250 employees was able to develop its activities in component maintenance and manufacture of ground support equipment over three locations in Florida, Arizona and Kentucky.

In 2015, Frédéric joined Zodiac Services in Atlanta, as Operations Manager, responsible for the development and management of the group's surplus activity, as well as its cabin programmes.

In 2018, he joined GA Telesis in Florida as Director of Strategy and Development.

“I am proud to join the TARMAC Aerosave team, the reference worldwide for all aircraft life cycle ground operations. I'm keen to continue our efforts to ensure constant growth in our four strategic activities, conquering new markets.” said Frédéric Denise on his arrival in Tarbes, headquarters of the TARMAC Aerosave group.

Frédéric Denise reports to Patrick Lecer, CEO of TARMAC Aerosave. “I am extremely pleased to welcome Frédéric into the big TARMAC Aerosave family. I know that his commercial and executive experience, acquired both in Europe and the United States, will serve our customers, operators and lessors, and keep increasing their satisfaction.” declared the Group CEO.

“I wish to thank Alain Leboucher for his commitment over the past few years, and for his team's ability to adapt to the current crisis. I wish him great success in his new projects,” Patrick Lecer added.

Handover between two recognised professionals in the sector

Wanting to devote himself to a family project in business aviation in the Caribbean and to developing activities in the aviation sector, Alain Leboucher wished to express his thanks to TARMAC Aerosave and to welcome his successor.

“The last three years at TARMAC Aerosave have been exhilarating, 2020 being an outstanding challenge to the team's skills. I wish Frédéric Denise great success and wish to thank the sales teams and everyone at TARMAC Aerosave for having accompanied me in the strong development of the group in both the aircraft and engine sectors. I remain firmly attached to the Pyrenees mountains, to Occitania and Aragon, the vortex of so many adventures and endearing personalities.” said Alain Leboucher, whose departure is scheduled for the end of May.

Since 2018, TARMAC Aerosave has firmly established itself as the reference point for aircraft transition (change of operator or owner) with the development of a global offer of "one-stop-shop" services.
Frédéric Denise's aim will be to maintain this position while keeping TARMAC Aerosave at the heart of resumption of traffic.
1160 aircraft have been acquired since 2007, including over 200 in 2020. The rate of redeliveries will be just as sustained as that of arrivals in recent months, while maintenance and transition keep up with the recovery and the recycling activity participates in improving fleets.
