TARMAC AEROSAVE will make several announcements during the MRO Americas from April 5th to 7th, 2016 in Dallas, Texas, US. TARMAC AEROSAVE, the European leader in aircraft storage and recycling, keeps on extending its infrastructure, particularly with a new paint hangar for all types of aircraft including superjumbo jets.
Dedicated to the aircraft and CFM engines storage, maintenance and recycling, TARMAC AEROSAVE continues its development in France and Spain.
At Tarbes’ French site, TARMAC AEROSAVE took delivery of a new 3,000-square meter logistics building as well as an administration building to receive its customers.
At this beginning of the year 2016, TARMAC AEROSAVE continued its development: new aircraft parking extensions in order to further raise the existing capacity, a new 6,000-square meter logistics building and a new paint hangar for all types of aircraft, including the A380.
TARMAC AEROSAVE is also creating an EASA PART 147 training center which is due to be operational this summer.
TARMAC AEROSAVE will thus benefit over the course of 2017 from three superjumbo jet-capable aircraft hangars, 15,000-square meter logistics hangars and aircraft parking area capable of accommodating around fifty jumbo jets.
The increase in accommodation and storage capacities of TARMAC AEROSAVE is coupled to a constant development and a continuous improvement of its aircraft recycling processes. TARMAC AEROSAVE is now able to recycle up to 94% of the total weight of an aircraft.
Moreover, TARMAC AEROSAVE undertook new land-use improvements in Teruel, Spain, for aircraft parking areas. The works are due for completion in June 2016.
TARMAC AEROSAVE in figures:
- Number of aircraft received since 2009: more than 350
- Number of stored aircraft nowadays: 125
- Number of recycled aircraft nowadays: more than 70
MRO Americas allows Tarmac to meet customers in the area: airlines, brokers and renters. It is the occasion for the company to propose its services and make people aware of the evolutions and changes operated on its sites since the last edition. It also allows visitors to inform themselves on Tarmac’s future projects.
